Project Manager Reports to:
Engineering and Lead Project Manager Overview:
The Project Manager (PM) plays a pivotal role in leading a team of professionals to successfully complete projects within set deadlines, aligning with our business initiatives.
The PM's responsibilities encompass budget allocation, advocating for additional funding, when necessary, team selection, and project scheduling adjustments to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma Ability to handle sensitive and very confidential information with the upmost confidentiality.
Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis.
Ability to read/understand architectural drawings & specifications
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of professionals to ensure project success.
Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
Manage project budgets and secure additional funding when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution.
Select project team members and hire freelance professionals.
Set and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines.
PM 90 Day Outline:
Proficiency in Adobe, Word, and Excel.
Create and maintain job binders.
Manage transmittals and shippers.
Procure pricing and lead times for custom materials.
Communicate with customers regarding updates and schedules.
Coordinate work orders and takeoffs.
Read architectural and finish schedules to determine requirements.
Oversee sample and drawing submittal processes.
Coordinate samples with production.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Adept at working across multiple functions and lines of business.
